Elon Musk's 26-Year-Old Baby Mama Airs Dirty Laundry on Video
She gave birth to the child of the world's richest man — and now she's selling his car to make ends meet. Conservative influencer Ashley St. Clair, 26, says Elon Musk slashed her child support payments by 60%, and to cover the gap, she filmed herself selling her $100,000 Tesla® Model S over the weekend. The timing? Brutal. The symbolism? Even more so.
St. Clair's legal representatives Karen Rosenthal, Bikel Rosenthal & Schanfield LLP, alleged that St. Clair sold the vehicle because Musk "substantially and unilaterally" cut financial support for their infant son after she filed for sole custody in February, as reported by PEOPLE.
Who Is the Alleged 14th Musk Baby?
If St. Clair's claims are accurate, her baby, known by the initials R.S.C., is Musk's 14th child. The billionaire entrepreneur has 13 other children with three other women, including pop artist Grimes and Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis.
St. Clair alleges that Musk contacted her via social media in 2023, and the child was conceived in early 2024. According to Page Six, she also included screenshots of messages in court filings, one of which allegedly shows Musk expressing excitement about seeing the baby and suggesting they have another child together.
A Breakup in Public, a Tesla in Transit
Camera crews were rolling in Manhattan as St. Clair handed over the keys to her black Tesla Model S. The car, once a sign of her connection to the billionaire tech titan, was loaded onto a Carvana truck on March 29 as paparazzi snapped away. She told reporters she did so because the "vindictive" billionaire reduced her child support, as reported by Mediaite.
When asked why she thought Musk had slashed the support, St. Clair didn't hesitate. "That's his modus operandi, when women speak out," she said to a Daily Mail reporter.
Custody Case Gets Ugly
In a statement to PEOPLE, St. Clair's attorneys said Musk retaliated financially after she filed her custody petition, ignoring repeated attempts to resolve the matter privately. Her legal team claimed, "Elon Musk has financially retaliated against his own child and reduced his financial support substantially and unilaterally."
They added that Musk filed an emergency gag order to stop St. Clair from speaking publicly, which the judge has not yet granted. The application reportedly remains pending.
According to her legal filings, the pair stopped speaking after Feb. 13, one day before St. Clair publicly revealed on X (formerly Twitter) that she had given birth to Musk's child in the fall.
She claims Musk has seen the baby just three times, Page Six reports.
Musk's Public Silence, Online Shade
Musk has not publicly confirmed or denied paternity, and his team reportedly did not respond to requests for comment from multiple media outlets.
Although Musk hasn't spoken out directly, he has responded to critical posts about St. Clair on X. Her attorneys argue this undercuts his legal request to gag her while he continues to speak freely online. "Given that Mr. Musk is dedicated to transparency in government, it would be helpful if he administered his own life by the same principles," St. Clair's legal representatives Karen Rosenthal, Bikel Rosenthal & Schanfield LLP said in their statement, as reported by PEOPLE.
A Symbolic Split With a Price Tag
As Tesla sits at the center of political protests, stock fluctuations, and now a tabloid custody feud, this story hits all the notes: wealth, power, and what happens when billionaire drama spills into public view.
Whether the court sides with St. Clair or Musk remains to be seen. But for now, the Tesla is gone — and so, it seems, is the silence.
