With 1.6 million followers on X and a weekly livestreamed show, Loomer no longer needs permission to be heard.
She claims to have helped orchestrate the firing of Trump's former National Security Adviser Mike Waltz after a White House meeting with Trump in April. Loomer also claimed she was responsible for other staff dismissals she considered disloyal to the MAGA cause. The White House denied these claims, stating that Loomer holds no official role and has no regular access to the West Wing, according to Reuters.
That hasn't stopped her from wielding influence. Loomer has taken a hard line on several Trump administration decisions — from Middle East diplomacy to personnel picks — blasting each move she deems out of step with MAGA orthodoxy.

In recent weeks, Loomer has taken direct aim at Attorney General Pam Bondi and Trump's nominee for U.S. Surgeon General, Casey Means. She questioned how someone without clinical credentials could be tapped to serve as the nation's top medical voice, Reuters reported.
She also turned her fire on Bondi, accusing her of failing to clean up the Justice Department. Loomer's social media posts have become increasingly aggressive, sparking concern even among some of Trump's most devoted allies.
MAGA Allies Strike Back
Loomer's scorched-earth tactics have pushed some key MAGA figures to distance themselves. Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene called Loomer's rhetoric "racist," and "does not represent President Trump," as reported by Newsweek.
Loomer wrote on X that "Republicans attacking me are simply jealous that they were not on the plane with President Trump," as reported by the New York Post.
Trump Responds — But Keeps His Distance
Caught in the middle, Trump has played it cautiously. He praised Loomer's passion for the movement, but made clear she holds no official campaign role. At a September press conference in California, he said he disagrees with some of her statements and emphasized that he can't control what private citizens say online.
"Laura is a supporter. She's a strong person," Trump said, as reported by the New York Post. He continued, "I don't control Laura... I can't tell Laura what to do."
On Truth Social, Trump reaffirmed this position, stating Loomer does not work for the campaign, despite appearing alongside him at several events and even flying on his plane. He described her views as not a reflection of his administration or campaign values, Newsweek reported.

Loomer's feud isn't just a sideshow — it's symptomatic of a deeper schism within the Trump movement.
